Notes from the shelter

-Bella Sulton is a sweet girl who is looking for someone willing to give her a little time to feel safe and comfortable. She found the barking dogs and busy kennel environment pretty overwhelming, so she needed some encouragement to make her way past them. Once we got somewhere quieter, she settled beautifully into my lap for cuddles and kisses. She was still a little shaky, but being close to me clearly helped her feel more secure.-Bella is a total food lover! She sits nicely for treats and takes them very gently. She walks pretty well on leash with minimal pulling, although she’s definitely a potty holder and went several times once she had the chance. She wasn’t interested in toys during our time together, but right now she seems much more interested in finding a safe place and a person she can trust.-She will need a patient adopter or foster who understands that new homes, new routines, and new surroundings can take time. Give this sweet girl the time and reassurance she needs, let her move at her own pace, and I think you’ll see more and more of her sweet personality come out.
