Notes from the shelter

-This sweet boy is looking for someone who will take a little time to get to know him and let his personality shine. He loves food, and treats are a great way to win his heart! He takes them gently and is working on learning “sit.”-What really stood out to me is how much he wants to connect with his person. When I sat down on the floor, he came right over and stayed close. Within a minute, he relaxed enough to lean his whole body into me, and he even gave me a few kisses. He may need a little patience and time to feel completely comfortable, but once he starts to trust you, he clearly wants to be close and soak up that connection. He’s a very sweet boy with a soft heart who just needs someone willing to give him the time he deserves.
