Senior Special Needs. Diesel is a devastatingly handsome ginger and white cat. Going on 11 years old as of Nov. 2025, he still has lots of energy and love to give. He loves attention and purrs up a storm while snuggling up to you, but he has limits and for that reason will need an adult household with people who respect his personal space. Currently, and for the foreseeable future, Diesel gets daily Prozac. He gets excited and overstimulated, so this just brings him back down. He doesn’t mind taking his medication, which is in liquid form and very easy to give. He is doing great on it too!!! We have also been using calming catnip, which we just spread out on the floor or his favorite bed, and it is amazing! Diesel is OK with other cats, but his current kitty roommates at his foster home are lazy and a bit intimidated with his energy, so he’d need a cat that is really into playing with others. Diesel was adopted but returned because he was living with a senior couple, and eventually he was too much for them. They loved him very much and were sad to see him go, but it was for the best that he find a new home. Will you be the special person he needs?! Diesel is playing with his foster family.
