Notes from the organization

Hi, I’m Chester, and I’ll be honest—I’m a bit of a complicated guy At 4 years old For the most part, I’m a friendly, handsome boy who enjoys attention and spending time with my people. But I also have some quirks that make me special. Sometimes, if I’m caught off guard or become overstimulated, I can react by biting or attacking. Because of this, I’m looking for someone who understands cats like me and is willing to learn my signals and respect my boundaries. I’ve been in a few homes already, and what I really need is a patient, cat-savvy person who will accept me for who I am and give me the stability I’ve been missing. I’m looking for an adult-only home where I can be your one and only pet—no kids, no cats, and no dogs, please. In the right home with someone who understands that not every cat fits into a perfect little box, I know I have the potential to be a wonderful companion. Could you be the person willing to give a misunderstood guy like me the chance I deserve? If you are interested in adopting, applications can be found on our website www.ahimsahaven.org. Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only. As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.
