OAK was found on a local property living in a TNR colony and came into the Rescue with 15 other “Tree” kittens and she’s now searching for her forever home. She’s had her *first vaccine, Advantage flea and tick meds, a microchip and been deemed a healthy girl by the vet. Even though this little lady was found living outside she’s super affectionate and has a lovely disposition. She loves to be held and will sit with you while she just purrs up a storm. She has an adventurous side to her and loves to explore her surroundings and check out all the nooks and crannies. She loves to chase after the kitty toys she finds in her foster home and also hang out in the cat tree, where she’ll also curl up and take a nap. OAK has used the litter box since day one in foster care as she’s such a smart little girl. She loves to eat both kibble and wet food, have her water nice and cold plus she loves to have Temptations treats. She’s in a foster home with 2 dogs so she would suit a home with one as long as it’s cat savvy and as always, we recommend a slow, monitored introduction be made between them. She’s fostered with 2 other kittens who we believe are her siblings and they all chase each other around and will tumble and play together. She should do well with a cat in her new home as long as they’re willing to put up with kitten antics. She also can be an only cat as long as she’s not left alone for long periods of time. Children should be aged 6 plus and be gentle, loving and caring towards animals. If OAK sounds like she’ll be a good match for you and your family then please submit an adoption application to meet her. *She’ll have her second vaccine, Rabies shot and spay on Sept 16th and this is included in her adoption fee. Bet adopter must be willing to bring her to Barrie for this appointment.
