Tofu is a gentle, sensitive soul who just needs a little time to feel safe. Change can make this shy guy a bit unsure at first, but with patience, love, and a calm environment, he slowly lets his sweet personality shine through. Once Tofu is comfortable, he absolutely loves pets, attention, and soaking up all the affection he can get! When Tofu originally came into our care, he had a broken tail. While it still has a bit of a limp look to it, it doesn't slow him down one bit - he's a healthy, happy boy who's ready to find a family of his own. Tofu needs to live in a home with another friendly cat to help boost his confidence and show him the ropes. Having a feline buddy nearby helps him feel more secure and comfortable settling in. He has not yet been dog tested at this time. If you have a soft spot in your heart for the quiet ones and understand that the best friendships sometimes take time, Tofu will reward your patience with plenty of love and companionship. Tofu's adoption fee is $85 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations, and an FeLV/FIV test. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor only pets and that adopters have a history of having kept their pets altered and current on vaccinations. Our adoption process includes a background check, home visit, and vet history check.
