Notes from the organization

Hi, I’m Peanut, a 1-year-old boy with a playful spirit, a social side, and one very important best friend—my teddy bear! I came to the shelter when my previous owner could no longer care for me. It was a big change, but I’m ready to find a home where I can settle in, feel safe, and let my personality shine. I’m a social and playful guy who enjoys being around my people. I like pets too, but I prefer them on my terms. Sometimes when there’s a lot going on or too many people around, I can become overstimulated. When that happens, I may hiss or scratch to let you know I’ve had enough. A quiet, predictable home with someone who understands cat body language would be a great fit for me. Give me room to be myself, respect my signals, and I’ll happily show you my fun, charming Peanut personality. And wherever I go, there’s one non-negotiable: my favorite teddy bear comes with me! After all, every Peanut needs his best buddy. If you are interested in adopting, applications can be found on our website www.ahimsahaven.org. Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only. As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.
